I’ve always liked this song and the simplified picking approach of folk written songs with natural live speedups and downs. This is another 1-track recording from a Feb 2nd 2011 session: Three originals followed by this cover ended up on Observe. As mentioned in Song Wednesday #5: Taxi Driver, the songs are: In Your Eyes, Taxi Driver, What’s My Role, and then Стань Птицей at the end. This song wasn’t meant to be released, being the last after a long session and my voice giving in. Hearing it back, I figured it’s a nice short bonus. The ambient air effect I was able to come up with on the album (as mentioned for Wintertime), really brought this song out and you can hear this effect the most in this song out of all the songs on the album.
